Nissan Battery SOH information

I am trying to buy a used Nissan EV from a Nissan main dealer. They are showing me a battery report that tells you nothing. It's just the number of usable bars on the dashboard.

It's a three year old car .
Other similar cars not at Nissan main dealers have better reports. Showing % state of health. Ballance of cells, variance of voltage across the pack . Number of fast charges in life etc .

I have asked the dealer for a bit more detail. Did anyone else get more from a Nissan dealership.

I can't plug my own diagnostics in at the dealership. Nor do I have leaf spy.

I can't help you but you know how the AA did car inspections (or still do) there must be call for a professional outfit to do independent battery health checks that would be hard for dealers to block without looking dodgy. At the moment though I'm not sure what they tell you given there's no standards between manufacturers and is 96% really better than 94% in the long run who knows?

Thanks for that thought. In terms of the 94 versus 96 I agree. Albeit both or either would be fine . 86 would not be good and the car only tells you about any degregation at 85%.
As the day has gone on . I have watched enough YouTube videos to doubt it's a good plan without an independent test .

I may ask on Monday if I don't get a good feeling I will ask for the returnable holding deposit back .
I can buy a £20 piece of software and a £30 dongle and see everything I want. However apparently Nissan main dealers do not allow customers to plug in their own equipment.
I understand that in fairness.

Find another car elsewhere sold by a dealer who either supplies a proper battery report or allows you to DIY. There's no shortage of EVs so no need to accept bellend behaviour by dealers.
