Pre-planning 2012 - ticket sale ?

Hi all

Yes i know its a bit ahead but i am already planning 2012 for business and pleasure.

Does anyone know roughly when in the year do the tickets go on sale for Le Mans?

1. Join the ACO to get the two weeks period for advance booking available for members, started in October 2010 for 2011 tickets.

or

2. Contact the ACO, a ticket agency, MRI, P&M, team lang, Pistonheads too and any of the others, after July 2011, to register your interest and they should contact you when it's the right time to place an order, probably late November/early December 2011.

or

3. Wait until January 2012 and go to an agency.

or

4. Arrive at the circuit and purchase general entrance tickets (always doable) and camping tickets that are then (maybe) available.

Bottom line: how important is it to you to ensure an early guarantee of all the tickets required, versus how much you are realistically prepared to pay for them? Obviously, the early bird gets the best worms but that could be expensive.

Join the ACO and then wait for the general ticket sales. If it is the same as last year, then as mentioned there is a two week gap before general public can buy.

What is it you're after, because generally most tickets are available if you get in quick. But even now you can get some grandstand seats.

Don,t worry, race tickets get there when you arrive, order camping/grandstand tickets if you require them from the ACO/agencies or wait until closer to the race and buy them on e Bay/forums, this year you can get just about anything you want below face value but no Guarantee for next year, however you will always get something.
