Are some campsite likely to be 'turn up and pay'?
Discussion
I've seen a suggestion on the tickets thread that there are plenty of tickets available for some of the less popular sites like BSJ. A couple of us are late in booking and are trying to decide whether to pay over the top for Karting Nord (where we have other mates staying), pre-buy one of these other sites or leave it in the hope that we can get KN at a sensible price closer to the event (with the fall-back of one of the other sites being available on the day).
Can anyone comment on availability of camping in the likes of BSJ?
Cheers,
Al

With the amount of tickets available on here, Club Arnage, etc., why risk not being in possession of a guaranteed pitch/pass? *hint, hint*

My first two years at Le Mans I bought camping tickets on arrival. 2004 I camped in Parking Aerodrome and 2005 I camped in Parking Rouge. The facilities are rubbish but I never spent time at the campsite other than to sleep.
Edit: Some locals just park up by the road and sleep in the car. Depends how fussy you are really.
