Can anyone tell me what is called, I just cannot remember? Also is it any good? We have often looked at it but thought we might treat ourselves this year.

I think it is still called the 'welcome centre'.

It is a lot more expensive than the other food outlets.

The food was ok, but for the money, it does not compare with a decent restaurant out of the circuit.

Service was rubbish. But it is air conditioned, and a break from the noise.

If you were going to treat yourself, save it for a great meal out the circuit and stick with the tartiflette or good old kebab frites!.... umm yum.

I can't remember what it is called, but there was another food outlet in the village which did a set menu only. That is to be avoided at all costs. Served up uttter crap.

Unless you are getting decent hospitality, I think you just have to get the basic food and save any expectations of decent food for outside the circuit.

Thanks, I just fancy chilling out on the rooftop terrace for a bit followed by a nice dinner.

I have not set foot in the other place you mention for about 20 years following the most violent dose of food poisoning I have ever experienced. I have never eaten spag bol since. I must have spent about 23 hours of the race barricaded in a turdis.

Yes.

Originally you had to eat in order have access upstairs, but I believe it changed to open access. Not sure if that is the case for the start and finish when access is probably for ACO guests only.

It has been open access during the qualifying sessions and you can get a beer.

Much more exclusive during the race though.
