Thanks for pointing this out. I have downloaded it and will be printing it off. Does anybody know what the score is with the 2011 edition of the Club Arnage Guide?

It's ok but the run down on the teams are terrible... The description of Aston is a joke. They almost got something right... :-|

The Michelin guide? I'd imagine so with the £5 price tag on the back cover, is it worth that much?!

Good read. Although on P18 it says the LMP1 Astons are running V12s. I thought they used turbo-charged straight 6s?

Ah great, thanks Dyl. I have checked it everyday for the past few weeks to see if it had been updated yet.

The guide is both right and wrong at the same time!

It states "A pair of Aston Martin-Lolas ran in LMP1 for the first time in 2010... The Aston Martin-Lolas are powered by a V12 petrol engine...".

Firstly one of my pet hates, the 2010 was NOT an Aston Martin-Lola, it was a Lola-Aston Martin. A Lola chassis fitted with an Aston Martin engine.

Secondly the 2010 cars did have V12 Aston Martin petrol engines fitted in a Lola chassis.

Of course this isn't 2010 it's 2011 and in 2011 Aston Martin will be racing the AMR-One, an Aston Martin chassis powered by an Aston Martin S6, 2L turbo engine.

So the guide is quite correct in it's facts about the car AM ran last year, but tells you nothing about the car they will be running this year.

Also 'interesting' that the Evora LMP2 will give Porsche, BMW and Ferrari a run for their money. Errrr, what?
