Hello

Not going to Le Mans this year but we are going to France latter in June. We need an overnight stop somwhere around Le Mans on the 29th of June. Anyone got any good recomendations as I can't face another night in a Formual 1/etap bed!

Thanks

Mark

Might make up in a small way for not going to the 24 hours this year.

Depends what you want. I stay at La Charriere in the countryside near Teloche. It's a couple of spare rooms in a farmhouse really - basic accomodation (like staying with relatives rather than a hotel!) but very genuine and very affordable.

If you want something a bit more upmarket, the Hotel Arbor (on the Mulsanne Straight by the second chicane) is nice and does the best entrecote I've ever tasted.

It can be a bit funny to google. If you can't find it under 'Arbor' try Auberge de Mulsanne ( it's the same place)
