It's my first Le Mans, going with 4 other virgins. I just can't wait. This time in 2 weeks, we'll be there, car fully stickered, 3 tents and a barbie. Hell, we'll probably all be wearing some gash team outfit, and be well into the dodgy french Lager.

It's strange. I do a lot of miles for work, and I don't really like having a car full of tossers throwing crisps all over the shop. I should be dreading the whole thing. However, the idea of a 10 hour trip 5 handed somehow seems totally worth it, once I hear thet Mazda and the Aston live...

You'll be going every year from now on!

It really is like a party atmosphere, everybody's your mate and you'll never forget it. Just hope you are a party animal like most others, if not then you are in trouble!!

Same here, dead excited and i'm almost bloody 40!!! Well, will be 39 on the 8th. 5th time out though, but still as excited as ever. Van already stickered up, just have to finish detailing the bbq and acquire a fridge / freezer for detailing over this weekend. We leave from Cheshire week on Monday, will be there Tuesday morning. Best thing is my Dad (60) and Uncle (64) are joining us this year for their first time out, but i think my excitement covers their lack of it :-)

Funny that, I was 40 this year and bringing my Dad who was 65 this month! Last time I took him he was like a small child in a sweet shop - he only has a mental age of 8 years, so my mother tells us. lol

This will be my 7th year in a row. Have been going every year since I was 16.

You'll have a more-than-better time.

For me, the start/end of the year is marked by Le Mans! wink

My third year, the previous 2 years I have simply attached myself to other groups and been taken down. Met some great people this way, as I have no mates interested in coming along better than going on your own.

This year in with great 3 guys and 2 cars and going for longer than ever - 6 days. God knows how I managed to fiddle this with my wife.

Struggled to sleep last night for thinking about the noise & atmosphere.

Although i'm slightly worried my own personal 'mental hype & anticipation' will exhaust the actual event itself.. you know how it is when you look forward to something 'too' much lol.

3rd time down for me this year. Its the main thing I look forward to all year round! We are lucky enough to rent a house each year - the garden backs onto the track just up the road from Indianapolis. Not long now - cant wait!!!!

If you wander up anywhere near tetre rouge you will see the TL site. Mention me on the gate and pop in for
a cold beer on draught.

have a great Le Mans - Baron Bashoneov.

Agree age is nothing to do with going to LM each year! I'm approaching 70 and son is close on 40, and we've been going since 1996. His son, my grandson, is near to joining us maybe in 2013.

Will be my 6th this year, done 4 previous regular Le Mans and the Classic in '08. Going up with my brother, a friend of his and his brother, spent the last few days coming up with ideas for the obligatory Team T-shirts! Apart from '08 I haven't been since '01 >hangsheadinshame< so I'm proper looking forward to this one! I can remember past Le Mans like they were yesterday, which may mean that I wasn't drinking enough... laugh

Bring it on!!
