As I am a Lizard fan I recently ordered their latest T shirt ready to wear at Le Mans next week. Now, sod it, the Lizards have just announced their Le Mans 2011 T short design showing the new car in all its splendour. I don't think there's time to get one either. Not very good PR from them unfortunately.

Eh? Maybe I'm missing the thrust of your argument, but I've just checked their store and they have 2011 t-shirts, showing the familiar Lizards livery that their cars are running in the ALMS (note the different number/s than the Le Mans entries). There is also (now?) a 2011 Le Mans t-shirt showing the 2011 Le Mans livery. I'm struggling to see how that is bad PR. You bought a t-shirt, I imagine that you opened the package and where happy with your purchase, and now it is cast aside as it is not the latest thing in the store? R.
Rest assured though, in recent years there has been a Lizards stall in the village. It was particularly manic in 2007 when they last ran a special livery so there is still a chance to adorn yourself with the new livery. Careful though, Lizards have in the past also offered a discount with a Radio Le Mans code, so might be worth listening out for that.

The Lizards recently announced a new design T shirt based on the USA prototype car. Before I ordered it I phoned them and asked if this is their latest ahead of LM 2011 and they said yes. So I ordered one and got it maybe 2 weeks ago. Now, only in the past few days, they've announced their new paint job and also a related T shirt design! Hence my comment about their poor PR.
I am a Lizards fan and will continue to be so. I'll be wearing several of their T shirts in the coming days. Pity I cannot get the latest design for this year. Maybe I'll get lucky if they do have a shop in The Village, as in the past, and supplies hold out!
I'm only a teeny bit annoyed but this could have been avoided I think.

Apologies Leaper, reading my message back it sounded a bit more harsh than I intended, I blame a lack of coffee. I can see why you may be slightly miffed, but from memory it was the same in 2007, week before the race the livery was announced and thus the merchandise.
