Just a bit of advice for people who are considering packing a suitcase full of yellow T-Shirts. There are some tiny black insect things that have really sharp teeth. They seem to be attracted to the colour yellow and are very irritant when they bite you. Myself and many others will have experienced this as the Pistonheads "Keep Le Beer Near" T-Shirt for that year was a nice bright yellow.

Lot's of flying insects are attracted to yellow as you say. It's one of the reasons Hi-Vis gear can be had in Orange.

I believe the yellow makes them believe you're a big flower.... A term I suspect only applies to a (welcome) minority of PHers.

Suffered this fate at Goodwood FOS in 2009 - one of the tyre companies had been busy handing out yellow hats, to see them discarded in bins soon after.

Not just yellow t-shirts. I attracted them like crazy last year - all day, every day. They are like tiny little black lines, but don't they freaking bite! They actually drove me to distraction last year; my friends thought I had a permanent tick

We had a couple staying next to us in Beausejour a few years ago with a Yellow C5 Corvette, the thing was covered in insects
