Dilemma, what car to take?

We had a bit of a problem thrown up yesterday. I was trying to be really organised this year by sorting everything a few weeks ago, anyway the car we were proposing to take - my brothers Jaguar XJS failed its MOT last week due to its rear brakes. Unfortunately due to the incredible (I mean stupid) design the rear brakes are inboard on these so the axle has to come off (what an absolute ball ache) as usual though some of the bolts are seized and in getting the bolts off the bushes may get damaged and we cant get any bushes for the beginning of next week - bearing in mind we leave on Tuesday. So we have decided that taking this car isn't going to be viable. This is the car we should have been taking...
Anyway, we still have a choice of 2 other car's; we could either take my brothers other car - a Jeep Grand Cherokee or my VX220 which I took last year. Now of the obvious answer is to take my car however we have lots of stuff - Gazebo, tents, BBQ etc etc and we wont be able to get it all in, so do we leave some stuff or try and get some people I know to take it if they have space, or do we pack everything in the Jeep and cruise down in comfort with loads of space plus we could bring back some souvenirs.
So do we take this: (a virtual beer token to the person that can tell me which corner this picture was taken at last year)
Or a blue one like this:
We are currently leaning towards the Jeep as its going to be less hassle and more comfortable (We must be the oldest sounding 21 and 24 year old's ever!)

Pete that would be a brilliant idea if I was a real PHer and had millions of pounds sat around unfortunately however I'm not so I don't 
. What ever car we take will be adorned with the 'Biere Du Homme' stickers and will have no problem winning the Top Gear style race thus earning us a beer courtesy of your kind selves.

Vx, I'm taking my Elise and frankly when you get there unpack it and buy what you have left behind you will relies it was a good choice, tent / sleeping bags in footwell leaving boot for clothes, it has to be done if you don't take the vx there is little point having it in my opinion! Lol have a blast!
There have been some good suggestions so far such as the luggage rack. I had thought about leaving stuff at home and buying it there but I have bought everything I need now anyway. I'm still leaning towards the jeep at the moment.
2 years ago I went down to Le Mans in an s1 Elise and we took loads of stuff so I know if packed properly then you can get a surprising amount in them.

its tempting! Its the perfect car for it as well! The Jeep is identical to the one above apart from it being dark blue and will have a couple of stickers on. Take the VX, as a mate of mine says, "You owe it to Le Mans to take the nicest car" When the kids and youngsters see the Jeep are they going to say "Wow look at that Jeep....."
Just my opinion obviously. I went a couple of years back with a mate in his Elise and we got all our kit in that without too much difficulty.

Arrgghh its so annoying, I really want to take my car but it makes sense to take the Jeep...
Head or heart? I can see this being a Tuesday afternoon decision just before we leave!
I kind of agree with the above comment about taking an interesting car - I vowed to myself that I would always take a stupid/interesting car to Le Mans and here's me considering going in something sensible!
Somebody please say "Look Al wtf are you playing at, you are young and stupid and have an appropriately daft car suitable for a Le Mans excursion why are you even considering going down in comfort when you could go down in a cramped uncomfortable car that is hugely fun!"
