Oh yes, monday 13th is a french bank holiday and most petrol stations will be closed so be warned. Motorways probably will open but be warned, don't get caught out !

Monday 13th is a holiday in France. However large supermarkets, including Super U at Arnage and Auchan Le Mans will be open.
There will be no problem getting fuel, although the smallest independent garages will be closed - most petrol stations have 24 hour pumps which accept UK credit/debit cards these days.
Traffic will be a little easier, as there's a ban on HGVs over 7.5 tonnes 22.OO Sarurday to 00.00 Tuesday 14 June.
