someone just mentioned this in the French Rossers' thread so just wanted to check. Last year we just flicker our lights over using the beam adjuster on the projector lenses for the dipped beam. Didnt have any unwanted attention day or night.

Legally is this acceptable (we drove le mans, chamonix, austria, switzerland and home via the Ring without issue) or do i have to stick things to my lights that in past experience have mean't i am legal, albeit for about 6 miles until the fly off at speed smile

I just flick the levers over on mine if I'm doing any running at night and keep the handbook available to prove to anyone that it's legit. It's also courteous to the other drivers as well!

Mind you, always got a roll of tank tape for hasty beam bender creation just in case I meet a non-believer! No idea where to put it though, I'll just look as if I know.

As far as I know, you place it so as to flatten the beam pattern, i.e. remove the kick up to the left. Easiest way I've read involves shining light onto a flat surface and using a small piece of tape...if that makes sense.
