Just come back through the the Euro Tunnel and got stuck for 3 hours on the M20 - it's shut until Monday morning. Don't go down the A20 either - that's the diversion.

Thought I'd let you guys know on your way home.

Only picking this up now. Nightmare yesterday. Took over 3 hours to get from the Chunnel to London.

Lots of other Le Mans folks in the queue which kept it interesting at least.

Fuel must have been a concern for some!

We took the 2206 tunnel and caught news of the M20 closure on Radio Five's F1/football coverage (how come you can get R5 in northern france better than northern hampshire?) so planned a scenic route across Kent. It was a bit of a trek but took 1.5hrs to get to the M25 @ Sevenoaks, so probably quicker than following the official diversion.

Bonus points to the pair of Royal Mail DAF 7.5t trucks that seemed to be doing a high speed run on the twisties between Ashford and Tunbridge Wells. smile

Was closed between J8 and J7 northbound overnight Friday/Saturday. Spent an hour at Le Mans Friday pm before having to do a high speed mercy dash home. Won't tell you how long it took but both the Rozzers and le Rozzerres seemed occupied with folks going in the other direction luckily.

Me too, about 2 hours ahead of you. Good old TomTom HD Traffic spotted a 100min delay and rerouted me down some lovely country lanes to the M2. £3.95 / month well spent. I reckon I saved the entire year's subscription last night!

We got caught there last night too but seeing an Aston Martin One 77 made up for it. Apart from that a good trip back.

Yeah, we were cruising alongside him for quite a while... and the Carrera GT. Both very easy on the eyes.
