Road block on the d338 fisting speeders.

Two in our group have just been fined 1500 euros between them and banned.

Any late leavers be warned!

2 out of 4 of us got tugged for 170kmh, can't complain at being pulled but that is a big arse fine. Quite a few cars here, all Brits I think, we've hidden a mile down the road to make sure they don't start on us (we were going slower but still above the limit)

Like something out of the Dukes of Hazard....have you turned off after the check but before the road block? Can you go back and pick up the A28?

Is this the start of a worrying emergence of VBRJ amongst Les Gendarmes?

I went down that road on wednesday and came back yesterday. I travelled that road at 12.pm on the way back to Calis. I saw no police what so ever. So maybe they set up there traps latter in the afternoon.

Fortunately the alternator belt was freying so I took.it easy on the way back in my little AX..

DID however see a few sneaky chaps with cameras ducked down behind the railings on the bridges.
