Is it just me, or did there seem to be less people there this year? We only booked tickets with a month to go and managed to get in a grandstand - they are normally sold out way in advance. The whole site generally seemed less crowded.

We camped off site, and left Expo car park straight after the race. No queues to get out of the car park - straight onto the road and out of town.

Plus driving back to Calais on Monday morning is normally a nightmare with long queues on the autoroute. Nothing at all this year. Made it back in record time!

Usual carnage getting out of Houx. Some cars parked up for quite a while queueing to get out.

Alot of traffic going into Arnage on sunday night after the race aswell! Some long queing at tolls on monday mid day aswell.

Didn't see as many people on the ferry etc and driving down as I thought I would.

Eurotunnel was also a lot quieter than usual. Car park only 1/3 full. Put on earlier train than booked. 3 years ago we couldn't get into the car park for the food at the terminal. And another time we were turned away and told to come back no more than 2 hours before our departure.

Definitely seems quieter this year.

Maybe some of the chavs couldn't afford petrol for their Saxos?

Agreed, it seemed a lot quieter, and personally I think the balance was much better for it

agreed it was quieter but still took us about an hour to get out of Bleu Nord and onto the main road after being routed out via Arnage but was bearable. Was quicker to walk to Porsche Curves and beyond on foot on saturday night too than getting the bus too.

Maybe less Brits this year.
The carnage around the Expo round about was bks again when we were there and the signposting of Raineries car park was like an initiative test!!! Miles away from Bleu car parks (Although its also Bleu) No indication at all that there might be a car park called that anywhere and if you missed it you got snarled up in the ridiculous jam again.Oh and you entered through the pilot school coprorate hospitatlity and round a couple of hangars.(No signs of course)
