What terrible news,a good friend of ours (only from Le Mans each year) who lived in Holland was tragically killed in a motocycle accident on the way home,we dont have much info other than an accident on the other side sent a car accross and hit him head on,I met him by chance on the way down at Rouen this year and spent a lot of the week chatting to him and his family we all camp together,a lovely lovely guy (it was his 30th at Le Mans this year), all the way from Holland on his 851 Ducati,Just gutted for him and his family.
RIP split pin.

Thats really sad to hear. The great thing about Le Mans is the people you meet, and getting to see them each year. I know of a friend who's work collegue's father was killed on his bike on the way to the south of france via this years Le Mans. Another very sad incident. Will raise a beer at next years event. Missing friends :-(

Very very sad frown As above - part of what makes Le Mans is the random conversations and people you meet. Each year, I've come away with people I have kept in touch with

RIP chap

Thoughts are with his family. That is a tragic story.
