If they get an entry/ies (and lets face it, a major manufacturer isn't going to announce without some sort of nod from the ACO) , this will be absolutely fascinating. Toyota have shown that they love spending money, so now we may finally see what a well financed petrol car can do against a well financed diesel car.

Anyone think the picture looks very similar to the Lola Rebellion? Coincidence?

Any big factory entries coming to Le mans is good news as long as the others stay. With Porsche coming as well as jaguar, bentley and Ferrari also rumoured. There should be some good years ahead.

Well LMP 1 is starting to get a little like F1. There is a generally accepted 'best shape' and designs are based around that.

Deviate and be 20 seconds a lap slower...eh, Aston?

Looks a lot like it. One of my Le Mans convoy mates has a Rebellion insider contact so I will ask him.

You think the Pugs and Audi's look the same? Is was more than just the shape that made the Aston slow, although all that drag didnt help.
