Le Mans Route Planning
Discussion
I have planned routes to Le Mans for me and my convoy for many years, from all ports including Spanish ones, using all sorts of roads, planning stop overs, locations for lunch, hotels etc.
I really enjoy doing it, and wondered if there was any demand from people to have their routes sorted for them, minimising gendarme exposure and getting some great driving roads, as suited to the cars in question as possible? I will have driven most of the routes myself over the years. As is the way of the world there would need to be a fee.
What do people think?

I think you'd be exposing yourself unnecessarilly if you said it was free of gendarmes and someone gets caught. Would you go halves on the fine??
And with most of us having sat-navs, the virgins wont need it. And those who have been before wont pay for something they already know
So no, I dont think the idea is a go-er. Sorry.

A fee?? Trolling? I like to think we can help out any potential Le Mans noobs for free! Anyone who has been before knows the score anyway.
Not sure you understand what trolling is
Anyway, over the years I have helped out many people on PH with this. But I am talking much more detail. Every year people ask for routes and they get rough approximate guidance, I am talking turn by turn if required etc. Fee is purely to cover my out of pocket expenses and a tiny bit for my time.
As for people who have been before of course they wioll know some routes, but do they all know the best routes through the Pyrenees, or from Caen taking in some great roads in the Forest, or the routes through Burgundy stopping at chateaus for lunch etc.
As I said the post was to explore whether its something people would be interested in. i would make no profit, just cover my time.
What I would not do is indemnify anyone who breaks the law and no gurantees can be given that the waitress at a particular restaurant is cute

What I absolutely can guarantee is that the girls working at my campsite are incredibly cute - I think the aging owners must be pervs (good for them!).
And no - I am not letting on which campsite it is... suffice to say it is close enough to the circuit to be convenient, and far enough away for there to be no chavs!

The ladies that sell RLM radios are normally quite tidy And no - I am not letting on which campsite it is... suffice to say it is close enough to the circuit to be convenient, and far enough away for there to be no chavs!
