Mercedes SLS at le Mans?

Just wondered if a merc sls was competing at le mans? i see it is currently doing the dubai 24 hour race, is there anywhere that has a provisional line up?

Doubt it, the SLS has only made it to GT3 format...Like the R8. Le mans (at least the old rules) started at GT2. Great looking car that said.

I was under the impression that due to the FIA WEC, there was a move to merge the GT classes under the basis of performance quivilancey measures.....but that said I am stupid and believe most things I am told
