This years plans have been scuppered by the hotel. They can provide only one room and not two required.
However, i am quite excited at new plans which i've looked at, which are yet to be confirmed.
I did look at camping in a village away from circuit, which is in the same village as the hotel, but the process of getting all the kit down in the cars will be a pain. Plus if the weather is bad, it will be miserable.
So... for something a bit different, we are looking at hiring a canal boat instead between the four of us. Again, the depot is in the same village as the hotel or camping option. The river route would also allow sailing and mooring at arnage village and Le man centre if we wanted. Shame the river doesn't run near the circuit!!
Obviously the cost is a lot more than camping and a bit above the hotel, but it certainly will be different and I reckon good fun.
It is my 10th year going to le mans in a row this year, so it was meant to be a bit special and different and I think this fits the bill nicely!
