Hotel for the way home

Can anyone recommend a hotel to break up the trip back to Calais this year. Looking for something not too expensive, in a nice spot, decent parking facilities and crucially it must offer twin rooms. It's the lack of twin rooms which has stopped me booking the Ibis at Honfleur.

depends on your route home, have you tried the Formule1 budget hotels ?
there's one in Abbeville

but most people are ready to get home after the race, so just get your toe down and back to the ferry

Formula 1 is a bit too budget, would like my own bog. Done the toe down blast home too many times before. Have nearly fell asleep at the wheel in the past so thought we'd take it easy this time.

You could use any Ibis or Campanile. Reasonably basic rooms but always with en suite facilities. I always use an Ibis to stay at when I go to Le Mans and for bedding down plus quick local restaurant it's good combo for me.

Try the Etap at Honfleur. Only a few minutes walk from the old port. I've booked a twin room there for my son and myself on the Sunday evening after the race at 46 euros a night with breakfast an extra 4.9 euros each. I've not stayed there before but it's recommended on trip advisor. We'll be having our traditional seafood blowout there before heading home on Monday but happy to buy you a beer or two if you get booked in! We'll be in the BRG Jag!

Nice old French hotel right in the middle of the old town, close to restaurants and the harbour. Swimming pool and private car park too. Not sure about the twin rooms though.

The Ibis in Deauville, 9 Quai de la Marine has twins. Not too far from Le Mans and some great food nearby

There is an Etap in Deauville too that is a lot cheaper than the Ibis, but it is about a 15 minute walk into the town centre and a €10 taxi ride back from the Casino....

Thanks guys. I was looking at the Etap that Purple Haze suggested, and spotted the adjoining Mercure. Have booked that. Looks to have a decent car park and fairly close in to town.
