I will and I'm sure you will all miss sorely, the sound of the works Aston LMP lolas, even though last year there was the team kronos, it didnt quite have the bark the works cars had. I hope there isn't already a topic started for the sound of this car. Don't get me wrong I love the gt cars just as much for their exotic sounds and close racing, but I always loved the highly strung bark those v12s made.

So i'm quite excited that there will be another decent sounding lMP1 car there this year, having stumbled across this link to the new Hybrid Toyota lapping.

I would've loved to have heard the Panos when they were going round, in fact watching older videos of the races over the years there are so many amazing sounding cars - too many to list tbh.

My all time favourite sounding car is a close battle between the 787b and the Matra 650.

I was dissappointed when peugeot pulled out, fearing no competition for audi.

But this car is looking good. Dunno about the pace yet, but it seems a proper effort. Whereas, you looked at the astons lmp1 etc and just thought, no chance!

I love that start up procedure. Wonder if it will do that every pit stop.... or how far could it run on electric behind a safety car situation?

I had probably the best night's sleep ever in 2010 when they were running, we were at TL site so could hear them going all the way up the Mulsanne, makes my hair stand on end whenever I hear it!

The first year I went, '05 I think was the best for me. Maybe not the most classic of sounds, but sleeping (or trying to) by the track with the rumble of the Corvettes and TVR Tuscan won't be forgotten in a hurry!

The first year i went was 1999 the v10 Panoz hurt my chest whilst sleeping on the bank at masion blanche then in 2000, still think its the loudest thumping car to date bar F1.
