Lotus LMP2 (WEC, no Le Mans confirmation)
Discussion
Just seen this on Autosport.com.
The article mentions WEC but doesnt directly mention the 24 hours apart from a quote ""More than anything else, we're looking forward to our return to Le Mans in this capacity..."
Is the LM 24 hours part of the WEC?

Like most of their current motorsport efforts they just seem to be throwing a Lotus badge on an existing race car...

Yes Le Mans is a round of the WEC. So a WEC entry bags you a Le Mans entry. Good news!
To be fair, badging LMP's tends to be the way unless your a full works team. Aston/Lola, Bentley/Audi, Ford/Lola, Audi/Dallara(kind of). The Lola is a decent car although LMP2 is going to be a massively close class this year!
