Hows your Japanese? Looks like Bourdais and Minassian with a shake down planned in March, hoping to be at Spa for the first round of the WEC.

I have some pics of the Dome in the scruteneering after the race in 2006. It was a beautiful looking car But only finished 39th and 198 laps behind the winning Audi. Came 1st though in my eyes as the most gorgeous looking car on the grid.

Nice green marker lights in the headlamps as well.

Rebellion and the HPD cars will be a good fight for Pescarolo! They have a good driver lineup, I think at least one of those 3 teams will get on the podium.

Peugeot who...?

Quite, Peugeot going has really ruined the race, hasn't it... wink

Will be interesting to see if Pescarolo has another entry of his more traditional chassis.

Indeed wink

Before today I was under the impression Pescarolo were entering at least one Pescarolo chassis, with Dome funding their car hopefully this hasn't changed.

Can not fault Domes reasons for racing - "Our cash flow is as if a profligate son keeps borrowing money to spend on Geisha, which is why we don’t have a choice not to enjoy the race."

You really can't underestimate the fanatical following the Japanese have for Le Mans. Traveling back from the 2008 Test Day on a Le Havre - Newhaven ferry, we got talking to a guy who now lives in Cambridge but lived in Japan for quite a while. He had a couple of young Japanese guys with him who had come over specifically for Test Day. They had reams and reams of photographs in A4 folders and he was explaining that it really is a pilgrimage for them and that they were over the moon as they had got some signatures for their pictures.

It would have been great to chat to them some some but they didn't have a word of English between the pair and to be fair, they were too engrossed in their picture albums.

The boss of Domes letter of intent for Le Mans. Clearly very passionate about racing, slightly bonkers approach to testing.

This is such good news. Let the Audis fight amongst themselves and ps off in the distance and we can all watch the petrol cars do battle just like we used to !
