Hello fans of Le Mans & Lotus,
Club Lotus France will be present 24H of Le Mans 2012.
Just before the famous 24 hours of Le Mans, the Club Lotus France will be on the track due to an invitation of the ACO, Saturday, June 16, 2012.
At this time, Club Lotus France, will run on the circuit track, during 45 minutes, in the hour before the warm-up. It's more than last year !
Due to this event, LOTUS will be present... with the new Exige V6 S !
Will also present at this event, our partners : Marcassus Sport and Laurent Sauzeau’s Insurance.
Founded in January 1983, the Club Lotus France celebrated his 28 years on the General Assembly in December 2011.
But the first meeting between fans of Lotus had started a little earlier, in 1980!
In the early years of the existence of the Lotus brand, was woven a close link between Colin Chapman and, a French man becoming famous: Gerard Crombac, founder of the French magazine Sport Auto.
One of the first French customers of Lotus, it quickly became a friend of the founder of the English brand, and its flagship driver : Jim Clark.
But we must wait for the end of the 70’s, for have the birth of the Club Lotus France
