Porsche ok? Spun out past Rouen

Driving down earlier came across a Porsche spun out on the fun roads past Rouen with a number of cars recognised from the stickered up for 2012 thread stopped with it...
Hope all are ok and the weekend wasn't ruined, would have stopped but all seemed to be in hand...
On a separate note saw no police (barring in Rouen where one had pulled a red 911) but how many speed cameras are there!?!? Think I managed to escape with only one flash though, good job no payments are necessary...

Hi, It was myself with the Caterham, and Mark with the TT that had stopped. We had been chatting to him (RallyChamp) at a petrol station just a few miles earlier and must of set off behind him just a minute ot two.
I'm pleased to say that both he and his passenger where ok, despite shock and immense dissapointment, as I understand he's had the car a good few years and just had a bare metal respray, amongst other things.
One of our group speaks pretty good French so we stayed with them for an hour or so whilst all the insurance suff was sorted out with the owners of the wall and with the collection of his car etc.
Nice guy and really felt for him. Lovely car too.
Hope you got sorted out OK if you read this, and hope you have managed to enjoy some of the weekend. Good luck getting the Porsche back and repaired.

Was that just out of St Malo on the motorway? One of my mates stopped to chat. Apparently a French BMW rammed him from behind and spun him into the armco then drove off! Luckily, another French car stopped to be a witness for the police. He'd only had the car a week or so!Pete, Apologies, just seen the rest of this thread. Thank certainly the 'French translator' friend who's name I forget (too much going on at the time). He definitely had more patience than I dealing with the French woman for an hour or so who was ranting away - interesting though how she quickly produced a bunch of accident claim forms!
The European breakdown cover guys were brill and the rest of Le Mans was spent with a VW Golf (although a bit embarrassing turning up at Porsche Curves in a diesel Golf when some were expecting to look at the body resto I just had finished).
Car is being repatriated to the UK next Mon/Tue and will be really keen to get all over it and check damage further (chassis legs especially). Not sure how the assessors will play this and what options may be on offer but keen to get the car on the road again - i.e. not a write off.
