Are you sure that this is not a mis- print and it is 45 mins to the track on a traffic free day?
Very nice place but 15 mins come on I know the area an I was surprised just where they are located to be 15 mins away

Thanks for that Leyorkie - yes actually on a 'traffic free' day it is 15 mins to the track - If you cut through the back of Teloche or round the back of Ruaudin these are the quickest routes.
You can get to Tours in 45 minutes . . .
Le Grand-Lucé > Circuit de la Sarthe is 27km

Its not too far tbh. Not far from Mulsanne
There's an excellent restaurant at a nearby village called Beaumont Pied De Boeuf, The Relais De Cheval Blanc, Highly recommended

I was there in for 24hrs this year.

It is indeed a straight run from the gite to the turning off for green parking. That is the key, accessing from the back of the circuit. Guarantee 20-25mins depending on pace. No queues until the very entrance of the car park! (At peak times of the 24hrs!).

Access to mulsanne corner also good. Back roads. Park at supermarket car park at mulsanne roundabout, next to corner and cut through the spectator entrance. Best at night. Again, no queuing.

The car parks around the main front will mean getting caught in large queues.

Gite is lovely, clean, comfortable and had a great BBQ/night on the Sunday with the owners.

30min walk to nearest village (3 mins in car). Couple of pubs and restaurant, but not great opening times.
