Probably one the of the best motorsport videos I've ever seen! A propers drivers view of Le Mans at night, how fast do those P1's come past?! Makes you appreciate how hard a GT driver has to work

My travel partner has a good friend who is a well known driver having driven at La Sarthe more than ten times and he said the same to the extent that the fact that he had to sit and stare at the mirrors all the time as well as trying to fight for position, really made the Le Mans driving experience a lot less fun for the GT drivers.

Also notice the speed under the gear indicator... 180 mph in the dark...

Great vid, absolute respect to the drivers in the race. Night time is really what makes this such a great race.

That tv screen would do my head though. (Bright light in dark cockpit).

Must be a totally different race when you are an lmp1 driver, not having to look so frequently for what is passing you. Especially an Audi driver!

What is the purpose of the Blue flashing lights? Is that the nightime version of a blue flag?

I'm not an expert, but believe so yes, as you also see those boxes flashing yellow where there's an incident etc.

yes, in certain key sections of the track.

Also bright lights in tv screen are no worse than what you get in a mirror and you want to see them anyway!
