Any other 24hr/endurance races coming up???
Discussion
Hi all
As the title suggests, I'm pining for another Motorsport event to camp at and I'm looking for ideas as to what I should look into.
I've seen the silverstone classic is coming up in a couple of weeks but that is too close to contemplate, as it would cause problems for certain party members getting time off.
Is there anything I'm overlooking? I've been looking at the 24hours moto at Le Mans, and that looks a good one too, but would the event be big enough a spectacle with a good attendance?
I'm looking into any event I can drive to (maybe Europe wide, within reason), camp at (with as close to an atmosphere as le mans) and ideally watch in the dark!
Any opinions appreciated. I don't think I can go cold turkey for a whole year till the next Le Mans!

As mentioned above. If you're into sports car racing then the Spa 24 runs a close 3rd to the Le Mans and Nurburgring 24 hours. There should be a full grid of GT's (no prototypes anymore), the place will be packed and the Ardennes is a beautiful area for camping. Also, it's only 3 hours from Calais.

We did Britcar last year for the first time, I'd reccomend it. Far less money involved, feels much more "club racer" but that's a good thing. You can get into the garages and get right amongst the action and drama, it's also comparatively cheap and the 1st Tickets camp site was excellent - think the weather helped, proper blinder!
