Did anyone see or hear the guy on the jet powered push bike going up and down the main road by the blue campsites?

I saw him on the bike up in the village on Saturday night! The fuel tank was a paint thinners can, but the jet itself looked well engineered (model aircraft type engine?)

He was camped just across the road from us in Bleu Nord. It was one of the highlights of the weekend watching him wizzing about on it, that and watching plateau 4 cars at night from an upstairs window in Hunaudieres on the Mulsanne and plateau 5 and 6 at Arnage until the heavens opened 4am.

He did a late night fast lap of the temporary roundabout near Bleu Nord as we walked across it. Pretty rapid and a manly disregard for anything more protective than shorts and T-shirt!

we must have been in the same area as you, he did seem to be travelling at a good rate when the engine was wound up, maybe it had soem sort of afterburner on but it made us smile anyway
