Sorry folks, I`v had a brief looki thru old threads and as search button is temp down{bit like O2} I cant do said search.!

This year the parade lap was for those huge American Stingray type cars.

My question is = How much to do a lap at the 24hr?
I know the classic was 139 quid is the main event a lot dearer or the same price?

I`d really like to do this as driving the straights or as I did, Indianapolis with a closed track just gets me in the need for the full track!
Any details would be appreciated.

Mick,
Don't think you can do laps at the 24Hr, unless someone knows differently?

There might be opportunity to get some hot laps in with one of the corporate outfits, but I guess that would be as a passenger.

There's various parade laps early on the Saturday morning, possibly done through car clubs as it's usually groups of one marque at a time

Frederic. Thats what I was thinkin tbh.
The 1 I witnessed as mentioned was just before the beginning of the race, a lot of stingrays went round the track in parade style. ? Just trying to find out how much and see if I can drum up some interest in doing that. I did it @ Silverstone and its SUCH a buzz.!

I've dug out a mailing I received earlier in the year which gives some info on 24hours circuit laps here http://www.speedchills.com/home/news/341-be-part-o...
Not quite the same as the Classic parade laps in your own car though!
