Which trackside camping?
Discussion
We've just got a motorhome, and so rather than Camping Expo like we normally do, we want to try and get on the fence next to the track - the theory being we're going to put a sofa on top of the motorhome!
I realise actually getting on the fence itself will be a lottery, but for best preparation of that, what's the best camping site for that, do you think?
Thanks

TR is still first come pick your spot but in theory no motorhomes allowed, however there are always a few there, in order to get a spot
close to the fence you will need to be there monday at the latest. Tickets for TR however are harder to get than rocking horse s
t as it is very small and full of the same people every year. I have used it for the last 15 years.

Tetre Rouge, get tickets early (if you can) and arrive at LM very early though.

Karting Nord doesn't exist any more.
Really? Seemed to be alive and kicking this year to me. Or are you being pedantic as its now just called Karting? (is it?) It is an expensive place to be, but you do get a lot.
40 mtr pitch. £340. 50 mtr pitch for motor home £400. Regardless of the number of occupants.
24Hrs security/marquee with bar, TV, SAT, Music, food onsite just for the site occupants, private loos etc and inside the GE zone inside Tertre rouge corner with the track 30mtrs from the bar. The site is restricted to wrist band holders only and a maximum of 170 vehicles. So no over crowding.
Give the guys a call if you want more info.
It is not easy to get in as previous years customers always get a heads up. This makes for a more sociable site as many people have met in previous years.
I hope that helps.
