2013 will be my 10th year at Le Mans if I include the Classics years, but I've always stayed in Houx or Houx Annexe
This year though it looks like we might be in one of the private sites down by Porsche Curves.

After all these years I've never been over that side of the circuit so it will be interesting, but I have no idea how logistics work over that side of the track.

To get into town on Friday night do we have to walk right the way through the circuit and catch the tram by the mad Friday roundabout or is there somewhere closer or a shuttle service to the tram or a bus into town?

Thanks chaps.

Last year the shuttles on Friday were only line 3 and 4 on this map:

You could get one at the porsche curves to Technoparc and from there one to Antares, where the beginning of the tram line is.

As Antares is the closest Tramstop, I am afraid you have to rely on these shuttles, or walk.

You could walk to Arnage in afternoon and have a beer then get the no. 21 bus to tram connection at St Martin. Think they run every 30 mins. Bus/tram tickets are valid for 1 hour so think you'll only need the 1 ticket to get to town.

The return journey will be a bit more difficult as I think the buses stop at 19.30 so you'll probably need to get the tram back to Antares and walk / catch little train on the return journey.

Hi

If you are staying on the Village On The Curves then we have two free minibuses operating on a half hour timetable, all parts of circuit and trips to Arnage and Mulsanne.
