Each year the PistonHeads private campsite has grown in popularity and size. This year is no exception and we received a tremendous number of registrations since the news article in June. We did request additional space from the circuit to meet with demand, but with the additional pressure on camping spaces due to the closure of the Karting Nord campsite, the site will stay the same size as 2012 (11,000m2 with 180 PH spaces).
As promised we will give all the PHers that pre-registered the opportunity to reserve a space before we officially launch the package with PH. So look out for an email real soon!
Ive stayed in maison blanche in recent years with friends. Next year UI want to bring my motorhome with wife and son, then spend a couple fo weeks poodling around France and maybe catch some TDF while we are there. Any recomendations for a suitable campsite which isnt too manic? perhaps MB again?
I booked quite a while ago, I will be staying over at Tetre Rouge on the Team Langoustine site, I just need to book the ferry now, preferably Hull - Zeebrugge but this is quite expensive so we may end up using the Dover - Calais crossing instead.
This is will be my 5th consecutive Le Mans, in previous years I have gone with Speed Chills: the first year I stayed at Bleu Sud and the following three years over at Beausejour, I think they have a great set up, especially the site over at Beausejour - there is a cracking atmosphere, the only problem being that its a bloody massive walk to anywhere other than the inside of Porsche Curves hence the reason I have decided to try a different site this year that is closer to more of the accessible parts of the track.

Thats why it is always good to look at what else is on offer, Porsche Curves is a fantastic vantage point but we recognise that there is a long walk to other parts of the circuit this is why we offer a free half hour timetabled minibus service to other parts of the circuit.
