Mate wants to bring his bird
Discussion
Dilema
A previous traveler in our group wants to join us (male only group) with his bird after a weeks holiday in France.
Is the answer:-
(A) NO under all circumstances
(B) we will join up at the track but your not staying with us
(C) Welcolme her into our group
our group is more inclined to (A) as we dont allow our lady folk to travel with us, and one partner in the group could be a slipery slope!
Other than "Get a life" Any thoughts?

If it's always been a boys weekend away, then no, she shouldn't come along IMHO. So either option A or B.
The only positive about bring an other half is that they get to see that the weekend is really just about cars and beer, and that there aren't hoards of rampant totty prowling the campsites waiting to pounce on poor unsuspecting groups of men... That, and seeing how bad the toilets can be, should guarantee you a free weekend pass for years to come as they will have zero interest in coming again.
I'd go for B that's a fair compromise from you and rest of clan.... But remind m8 with bird he will spend most of his time babysitting her and that he will lose out on all the manly things. That way your not classed as being too mean ( it's a compromise from a flat NO). I should know i take my other half, only woman in a clan of 6 men.
Your mate shouldn't want her to go, it's a 'lads weekend' simple. I have a mate who used to bring his bird to car events, it always changed the event, he acted different, she got bored, but tried not to show it. Plus, i don't want to watch what i'm saying, if i want to say c@nt every now and again, i can. Not with a lady present though, that's a crude example, but you get my drift. Your mate is being selfish, it's like you going on a hen party trip to a hair, nails and make-up weekend in paris, you would spoil it for most and hate it.
It's not just about the fact that it's a car thing either, even if you were going anywhere with the beys, magaluf, newquay, etc.. it would change the trip hugely if a girlfriend went.
So 'A' for me.

Oh please, Le Mans is a family event compared to some other events like the Bathurst 1000 for example, which is pretty much men only (as it does get a bit feral).
Definitely she will need to understand the weekend is about motorsport, but the idea that she will ruin your trip is just down right Victorian, who knows she might actually enjoy herself.

It depends how they as a group are though, surely? When we go Le Mans it's pretty feral tbh, a proper lads weekend. A wife or girlfriend would change the weekend, i know this is true for our group as a mate used to bring his lady to some events. But these lads may not act like us. The couple of times that i we have gone, there have not been hardly any women, that must tell you something about the type of event it is. But only the op knows how it will effect their holiday.
Le Mans has always been blokes only due to the nature of what happens there... WGOTSOT...
But its a lot of blokey fun, bloke humour, lots of drunkard behaviour and not a lot of manners.
Most females I know would NOT want to turn up and see us do that for 5 days and get involved, most would be bored in 1 hour flat.
Females do get the choice, but they are not allowed to dictate what the group does, if its someones OH they are warned that they are not allowed to drag them off cause they are bored/hating it, as they were warned beforehand that group as a whole decides what happens.
Then we just tell them that the shower block and toilet facilities are disgusting, that turns the rest of them off the idea.

Took mine with me did my head in ruined it for everyone, year later two mates took theirs and they loved it, got involved in everything and stayed up for the whole 24 hours, both are coming again. Got a new gf now and she's really up for going so gonna give her the chance. Is say take her but if she has no intrest in cars then she's gonna be bored!
(A) Is the only answer in this scenario !
We made this mistake once and its never happened again. Just one bird wont enjoy it you would have to take them all so they can talk about shoes and clean the campsite.
Then it loses its appeal of a laaaaaads weekend away and where¡¦s the fun in that. This is my 9th year at le mans and I¡¦m on the 3rd girlfriend. It¡¦s always been a massive sore point for the women in my life but the lads weekend to le man will no doubt out live them all. When I got with my current (lovely) girlfriend I informed her that this is an annual tradition between 5 friends that will never be missed unless your heavily pregnant or we are getting married. Im not stupid enough to plan either of those things in June ƒº. Luckily my GF understands this and doesn¡¦t really mind, she is great at stickering the car up !
If its Lads week it¡¦s a no go but if you invite all the other women then yes take her. Got to remember though some women are a bit crazy and even if they don¡¦t like it they will keep coming year after year to check up on you . . .
Sexist¡K a little but its lads weekend for us so girls are a no no.
