This thread has come one year too late. I switched to Tertre Rouge this year, after having spent 2 year at the Houx, rang 30.

We met some folk on there that had been every year for something like 58 years, apart from one year when he son was born, he admitted it was bad planning on his part and organised the birth of subsequent cheldren around the event.

8 years this year, done Houx 2 years ago and had to unfortunately bale during the McNish safety car period due to issues at home, but personally i think that Houx has no soul compared to others, basically due to the fact everyone turns up so late. We normally arrive Tuesday, so that worked against us for atmosphere, lots will disagree :-)

Depends what you mean by atmosphere. Houx was relaxed in 2012 but that was good for me. After risking our lives in Beausejour in 2007 when total ahole$ were racing their EVOs round the tracks inches from people's tents I'm all for a slightly restrained atmosphere (but not too restrained) Houx generally ticks most of my boxes.

Almost the opposite here, I'm lookin forward to sunshine less likely to try and kill me (i.e less than 40+ degrees C)

Feel free to drop over to the Irish camp for a beer. Will be flying an Irish flag - we are known for our ability to set up a bar.....

First year at Houx with 5 others, previously only stayed at Beausejour and Blue so this should be like the Savoy for us!

Me and 7 others are back after missing last year.

Stayed at Houx 2010 & 2011.

In 2011 we had the "Corona Bar" and in 2010 we had the Nunchuck Cricket Match & the gold and black transit.

This year we're hoping to top last year with an even bigger set up. Look for the Corona signage an George Cross.
