Evening all,

Any Bleu Sud people on here?

Thinking of staying on this site formthis year....

Any pros cons you can offer, hints tips or experiences???

We stay in speed chills on bleu sud but the main camping area seems ok.
Good for access to the track (compared to Beausejour) and also for porsche curves and even Arnage village (almost)
Facilities quite basic and this year it got waterlogged in a few places.
Plus watch out where your pitch is for mad friday. It can get quite lively down by the road

Camped here for the last 8 years and find it a great site. The facilities are indeed basic but this year did bring showers for the first time and pitches are marked out if you are arriving late.

Main reasons we like it are the easy walk to Arnage for an evening beer, it's not too far to the circuit/grandstands and is usually quick to get away from the circuit after the race finishes. Always find it a friendly site with fellow campers up for a laugh.

Just a quick one.....can you define what security actually means..... Is it fenced off or example?

That's a negatory good buddy, no fencing around the site. Bleu Nord does have a higher level of security though

Had tickets for Blu Sud a couple of years ago but unfortunately the people who mark out the pitches had forgotten their alphabet and missed a whole row out! Ended up on Blu Nord.

Anybody else on here been affected in this way?

Speed Chills does indeed have all of these things although they come at a price.

The only security in the main Bleu Sud part are the folks checking your car pass.

Otherwise all that separates you from the road is a ditch.

Personally I'd go with Bleu Nord rather than Sud. This will be my seventh consecutive year on BN. Sud always appeared a little less civilised, probably due to the rowdy behaviour on the road outside Maison Blanche. To be fair, I've no evidence to suggest this is the case, but always felt Bleu Nord offers all the same benefits with far less downsides.

Anyways. Hurry up June

Worse location. Prefer Bleu Sud location. Bleu Nord is huge tho so a plus if you want to leave it late to book.

Glad I found this thread. I'm on sud for the first time (usually on houx) it seems a good site.
