The guys from "Jamestours" will be there with a couple of Blackpools finest. Think our paths have crossed a few times in Le Sarthe, know the car but can't put a face to the handle. We make an effort silly so you should spot us when we turn up on Thursday.

Mellow,

Do keep up!

We met Eugene at the bar in Mulsanne a couple of years ago when he organised the BBQ with Lowdrag. We had the White Roller and P5b, I think. Met Cossie Stu and Lowdrag too.

Oh, hang on, you were too busy oogling a VX220....

driver... wink

Well lads, you should be aware that the Boule d'Or is up for sale - again. Nothing unusual about that, since the French CGT system cuts out after you've owned the business for five years - which came up at the end of last year, and I think they are riding into their retirement now with hefty wallets. Here are a couple of photos of the bar - you won't recognise it though!

My first trip to the race was with Page and Moy in 1985, train, ferry and coach(arrived saturday morning) no camping no idea what I was doing, hated it but loved the race, drove down the following year and only missed two main and one classic since

I will be calling into bounty for a couple of pride's but not staying there. One of my best mates owns the place so will be very rude not to go and drink his booze whilst he works!

I suggest you ask johnhere, the co-owner, if there is, at this time of year, anyone there at all. Their last mananger left I believe in July and perhaps there is no one new yet appointed, so no one on site, although I have seen a couple of cars inside behind the locked gates as I've passed. PM him.

Hi Guys. Sorry if you have not got hold of me on the phone have just returned from a week at Le Bounty and a few more extra days off. Now working catching up with the messages.

We have had new managers in place since last August, Andy & Currie. I spent 3 months with them last year helping to get the venue back up to speck.
As most of you know Le Bounty is a Carp & Cat fishing venue. We are open and have quite a few of the locals fishing and this week have a group of 6 fishing.
The number on the web site is a uk number as all bookings are handled through me.

Cheers Guys

John

Cat Fish will eat anything but live baiting works best. We have them to well over 100lb.
