Last year, on the Friday evening i saw this fells running around the track past Tetre Rouge. Proof it can be done if you know who to speak to.

Now, this year my dad is coming with us for the weekend and he is a running fanatic. Im 100% sure that having the opportunity to run around the length of the track would be something that he'd grasp with open arms and i reckon it would make the trip for him. Does anyone know who to speak to in order to jack this up for him?

Would love to jump on my bike to do it!

(if only it were that easy, fairly sure it would turn into etaps du mans - let one through they would have to let everyone through!)

Sunday after the race is a goer

Oh and Friday the track is half open to the public. Could you not just start running?

That's what I'm asking. Friday would be the best day for it I reckon. After that too much happy juice will have been consumed to even think about breaking the walking speed limit.

Bits of it might get a bit busy on Friday.

They'd be the two options. The tracks half open Friday and will be half full of maniacs hooning down the mulsanne.
Sunday after the race i've heard of people cycling all the way around, so the track will be good for a run.

Not seen anyone hooning for a while. Crawling more like with all the traffic!

On the Sunday I usually sneak into the marshalls campsite near Antares, watch the last hour of the race trackside, then walk the circuit round to the Porsche curves, picking up the odd car part along the way!

I think we'll do something like this. As soon as last practice is done on friday avo i'll kick him over the fence for a wee run. Thanks gang. Keep your eyes peeled for a mid 50's tall skinny bloke in a sweaty running vest. Make sure you cheer too!

Woza, I think it was Thursday morning.
This year we will be doing the same. 9am from the Tertre Rouge bend Thursday morning.
For the TL mob, they will all receive an invitation to do the run in the info pack sent with their tickets. This year there will be a little prize for the first to complete the circuit (without cutting corners, although we can straight line the mulsanne chicanes).
Everyone is invited to join us and I think we could stretch to a couple of TL T shirts and wrist bands as prizes.
