We've been to Le Mans several times now and have always camped in Expo but last year we bought a motorhome so will be taking that for the first time. We did consider camping in Expo again but struggled with a ticket and then found PZ54 which is a dedicated motorhome site apparently.
I just wondered if any others had stayed there? I've done a search and found a very limited amount of information. One post from 2008 said it had no services but a ticket agency has told me there is now electric hook up payable locally. Any ideas? Hopefully nothing too negative comes back as I've bought the ticket now anyway!

I don't know if it's the same thing but last year there were a lot of mobile homes parked on a hard standing area over the road from the Porsche Curves campsite.
Didn't seem to have much in the way of facilities but could well have had electric hook-up. It was also the turning point for the free Start/Arnage/Mulsanne bus service...

I used PZ54 last year and my ticket for this year arrived yesterday.
It's all hard standing and pitches are marked. There are enough taps to fill your tank and there is a toilet/shower block. I didn't spot any hook-ups last year, but as I have a generator I didn't go looking for it.
As a regular motorhome user, I like the fact that it's M/H only as it limits traffic through the site and a calm atmosphere prevails.
It's right next to the track but there's no direct acces. Roof-top position would give an OK view but it's only short short walk across the road to the Porsche curves and the noddy train stops at the gates for access to other areas.
Arnage corner is an easy cycle ride from here, I even managed to get there on the go-ped last year with nothing more than a smile and a wave (at least that's what I thought it was)from the gendarmes!
Take some poles and tape to mark your pitch if you go out, it should still be there for you when you get back.
Having camped at Houx Annexe and Tertre Rouge many times, I'm glad I've found this site.
