Isn't it 'leccy or fuel cell ? It'll have very little sound about it, unless they've got the Clio RS guys to install one of their sound tubes, with fake engine notes laugh

gak....i seem to remember the car on show in the dunlop tyre facility at the wec@ silverstone last September. Wasn't it some 'gas' fuel cell powered eco warrior?

Desperately needs hitting with the pretty stick!!!

Where the Deltawing was 'designed', I feel that this was 'styled'....by a 3 year old...with a crayon...after too much Sunny Delight.

I would imagine a large amount of that served little to no purpose. But they felt they had to make it look generic futurey to match the tech...which only serves to dilute what they are trying to achieve IMHO

I quite like it...

The sharkfin looks more thought out that on the other Prototypes where it looks like a bolt on after the design was completed.

Not as nifty as the delta wing and probably fairly silent, but I imagine it will still make a cool noise (when you can hear it) - bit like the diesels - they sound cool, but not loud enough.

So it can be loud, cool. Any word on the engine it's using?

It needs to sound good, because it's absolutely gopping hehe

Hasn't seriously turned a wheel yet has it? Wouldn't bank on it being there in June

Apparently it has had a successful shakedown test in Switzerland this week (18th April), before it goes proper testing at Magny Cours next week.

Last year I really looked forward to seeing the Delta Wing and how it would perform, but I'm not that bothered about the Greengt H2, I'm thinking it could be even quieter than the diesel Audi's, "how boring" sleep

Interesting technology. Seeing as there are 49 cars on the grid which are loud, its quietness won't bother me. But why make it look so stupid - its like one of those stupid students who wears a homburg hat everywhere to make you interesting.

We have already, here at Le Mans, nicknamed it the mobile chicane. You can read about it here:-

So fatboy18, you'll never hear it at all really, which is bloody dangerous for the marshals.

Arse. I hoped it would be hydrogen for an IC engine, not motors..

If only! And replace it with a Viper with some solar cells attached to the roof to supply energy for the brake lights!
