For the past few years Stephen has published a Spotters' Guide to Le Mans. It has been possible to download it for free and I know many of you have done so. I have contributed in a very small part with a pull out section at the end.

However this year (and possible in future years) he will not be able make such a guide. The previous guides have caught the attention of people within the media due to the quality and the fact he was (and still is) a teenager. The result is that he has been employed at www.dailysportscar.com as a staff writer with particular responsibility for the GT Academy as well as on-track task. He is also taking his A level so there simply isn't any spare time .... after the summer he will further his career in the journalism field

If you want to see what items he has written - check the Nurburgring 24h coverage on the speed tv website.
I am sure you will all wish him the best of luck for the future in his chosen career.

As a very small compensation I will continue to publish the smaller spotters' guide as I have done for WEC at Silverstone and Spa

From the guides I've read in previous years, and I have said this before - he has an excellent talent/knowledge for his writing, and he fully deserves this kind of opportunity, long may it continue.

Great Dane - your bit - meh!!!!!

( wink (only joking, look forward to seeing it!))
