Hello,

I'm sure amongst the PH collective some have taken part in the 'Supercar Parade' at Le Mans.

If you have been involved in this event;

What was the process to sign up for it?

What car did you do it in?

For those curious, I was hoping to take along an MP4-12C, exotic enough?

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Do you really want to show it off to a bunch of pissed up nutters.Once you are in that cavalcade there really is no way out..|Try the Great British Welcome at St Saturnin instead.Just turn up and you will be directed straight in to the show.It`s free and you can leave when you like.

Take the car to St Saturnin, and then bring it to the PH Friday Service. Both a lot more fun than the supercar parade.

Yes take the car to the classic british welcome, you will have a much better time and I thing your car will attract a few glances in the show car park

I'm lucky enough to have done the supercar parade three times with Ford GT (x 2) and 720 Mirage. It really is an excellent event, they provided accommodation at the nearby Chateau de Montbraye in Parigny L'Eveque, a champagne reception above the square before the parade, a separate one afterwards then a sit down dinner back at the Chateau for everyone involved.

Unfortunately I can't help you with how you get invited - the organisers seem to do their own sleuthing

Thanks.

So you were contacted directly by someone at the ACO?

It wasn't organised by the ACO but by a volunteer group - they have a website with a contact form here

Thanks, I will try the contact link.

I will include an update if I hear back from them.

Cheers for the help.
