Best place to watch the start
Discussion
On my last visit we watched the start from the terracing by the start finish line, with the big screen to keep track of the first hour or two.
We were thinking of moving round to Tetre Rouge this time (we never made it that far round last time for some reason), would on the inside or the outside of the circuit be better re seeing the action and screens etc?
Any other recommendations?

I normally sit on the downhill section between the Dunlop bridge and the esses. there used to be a big screen there which was great but last year it was absent. The inside of Tertre Rouge is a good spot, there's a screen to watch but it does get packed plus you don't see the cars for as long. A few years ago we made the trek up to Mulsanne corner for the start. I'd thoroughly reccomend doing that although you do feel a bit detached. Also somebody has to drive so no drinking!!
Always watched the start from La Sarthe tribune. Fantastic as the cars come round all together and then head up the pits straight for the start...and the noise! There is a screen opposite too.
This year we're in the ACO grandstand so we're anticipating a very different LM experience. I suspect we may be back to La Sarthe next year!

When I've not gone for a grandstand I've always gone to Maison Blanc and stood on the bank just before the Ford Chicane. There is nothing better than at 2:59.50 as the whole field comes round ready for hell to be let loose. Also there is a big screen for watching the rest of the action.
