Parking Rouge...?
Discussion
Gents!
I wasn't expecting to go this year but the missus has agreed to a long weekend at my mates place near Sées!

So I was thinking about popping down for the Saturday night, I think said pal still has a Bongo wagon and we've got friends staying in Tertre Rouge so in an ideal world we'd park in Camping Rouge (just over the bridge from T/R) and kip in the van for a few hours.
It'd be really handy to know how strictly the 'No Camping' bit is enforced and whether you can just turn up and park?
We've always done the full on camping experience in previous years.
I would just pre-order my camping ticket but it's still not 100% certain that we'll get there.
Cheers
Dave

Hmmmmmm, is it deja vous or did I read this the other day?!
In previous years (probably not since about 2006/7 though) we have chucked up a small tent/bivvie bag in between our two cars in Rouge and Blanc and not had an issue, striking it first thing (literally the chance to stretch properly rather than being cramped in the car). If you have a van I can't personally see it being a problem.
ETA - Just re-read your post, and I don't think you'd have any problems having a kip, I think it's more about trying to whack up a full-on tent set-up for the whole weekend.
