Lunch stop between Calais and LeMans

All, Can anybody recommend a good restaurant on the way down to stop, nothing megga-bucks but a step up from the motorway services?

There are a few nice little restaurants at Bourgtheroulde in the main street where a few nice cars stop, just to the SW of Rouen and it is right at the start of the old road, now the D438.

Rouen's nice for food, but if you stop there you will more than likely miss next years race, never mind this one.

We always stop at bernay, the is a big supermarket on the road in I think it is an L'clerck or something like that, we eat in their cafe, the pizza's are great and it is cheap but a real step up from the UK supermarket offerings. We then stock up there rather than stop again at carrefore also the fuel is very cheap so tanks are filled up to the brim

You are spoilt for chioce on a journey that long - my advice though is if it looks like it is full of Brits drive on to the next one (controversial);-)

few brits is OK but if locals are eating there at least the food has not been poisoned

It's further down but there is a wonderful place in Sees next to the church in the little square that does amazing Moules.

Thanks guys there is a few for me to look at on the map and see what will fit. One thing is for sure is that Roen will be a nightmare....
