Beausejour -Avoiding Le Mans town on Thursday evening
Discussion
Hi
Staying on the Beausejour campsite.
Every year I arrive around 5-6pm to the North of Le Mans, and then fight my way through the traffic in the Le Mans commercial area and Arnage to get to Beausejour which takes ages and eats into my drinking time
As qualifying has already started then, and you cannot access the most direct route across from the A28 I'm not sure if there is a route that would loop around the west / south of Le Mans that would be quicker?

The d323 will not be closed by practice -
You can stay on it and turn off into Arnarge - then left in Arnage village and straight into Beausejour across the new roundabout - similarly you can get to MB and BN by turning left at the roundabout.
Alternatively for Houx you can turn off at the Mulsanne exit D338, go onto roundabout to the right and back under d323 as if heading towards Mulsanne, straight after the bridge under the D323 is a a second roundabout, and the exit there for Mulsanne will be blocked for the practice so take d323 exit as if to rejoin the d323 going back in the opposite direction to what you have just come and take first right immediately - which drops you down the incline next to the Tetre Rouge bar and from there turn right and follow nose to all the interior campsites ending up at the roundabout at the entrance to BSJ....
Good luck !! but don't worry - nothing bad happens if you get lost and all it does it gives you more street knowledge for later in the week - or for next year - or the year after....
