Arnage - Silver Ferrari Enzo?

On Sunday afternoon, I was surprised to see what looked like a silver Ferrari Enzo casually passing through Arnage, surprisingly not actually causing much of a stir.. Did anyone else see this, or is it possible that we were having a group hallucination after too many beers? I don't recall seeing one at LM before, certainly not in silver, and I'm actually starting to believe I might have imagined it in my drunken state... Can anyone tell me I'm wrong?

Yep, I saw the same car driving through Arnage on Thursday late afternoon. It was an 04 plate I think.

It was from DK Engineering I think. Two fairly young blokes in it at the PH meet (considering what an Enzo costs!)

It was there- I spoke to the "owner". Also have a video of one of the hard launches he did.

We just saw him cruise past the Friday service, with an F40 in tow - second one of those we'd seen too. He gave us a couple of big blips but no more. Was lovely to see one at last!

I saw it going down the Mulsanne straight. The two young blokes were probably the sons of the owner of DK engineering. Jeremey and can't remember the other one. Nice guys and proper petrol heads with access to some mouth watering machinery via the familiy business.

I filled up next to the driver and had a chat with him. He was a young guy and very pleasant. I asked him how the drive was to Le Mans in an "Enzo" and his reply was "Well it's more refined than last year in the F50!!!" Haha
I told him he was a top bloke for bringing it down and he said "Yeah, but I've probably lost £50k off the value". I laughed and said "fk it, you only live once and I'd drive it everyday. Enjoy it mate... Happy Le Mans".

And that was that...

Yeah I wondered what 800-1000 miles would do to the value – surely worth trailering something like that down at least for the autoroute bit!

I really thought it would have been on a trailer. Must be lovely to have enough cash not to worry about 50K.

How has anyone come to the conclusion that driving an Enzo from London to Le Mans costs £50k?? I can't see it making any difference to the value at all!

You all think if the car had 14k miles on it would be worth £50k more than if it had 15k miles?! The spec, condition and history would have a much bigger bearing on its value than a few hundred miles.

Bloody trailer it?....there would be no point owning it!

Lovely car.

But what's going on with the paint? I wonder if a protective film is causing the mismatch of the front bumper section. Can't recall the panel gaps being so big on an Enzo also.
