Le Mans Classic 2014
Discussion
Just back from my first Le Mans. Now planning on going to next year's classic.
Looking for some advice from veterans.
How does it compare to the 'normal' Le Mans?
Do people still do all the car stickers etc?
Suitable for taking my thirteen year old lad?
Any other advice?
Thanks in advance!

Car stickers, yes some do but it doesn't really have the same appeal at the Classic. I personally think it all looks s
t along with how I feel the main event has changed recently.
I won't get into that though.
Classic is very suitable for 13 yr olds, I am considering taking my 11yr old next year.
Most don't sticker up.
Spectators arrive generally in classic and sports cars, they are everywhere..
It does get busier every year though, the first was really quite in comparison to now.
More people camping nowadays, originally it was just Houx I believe
Inner fields are full of classic car displays, so it is just outer campsites open along with Houx.
It's a great event, I just wish the group Cs would race and drop the 1920s cars to a few display laps over the weekend.
Oh and watching 935 Porsche and BMW M1 at night at Arnage is something to die for
