Will Weber fly the Porsche at Le Mans?

There was a whole spate of them a few years back, but Merc were by far the worst offenders. They were, IMO, extremely lucky not to have had a major injury (or worse) given that the cars flipped three times (and possibly a half-flip at the testing day that year - there was speculation that the 'suspension failure' of one the cars during the test day was due to a half flip and a heavy landing).
Porsche did it one year at Petit Le Mans - one of the 911 GT1 cars, but can't remember who was driving.
Thankfully it's a much rarer occurrence these days.

Audi have yet to be challenged? Do you not watch Le Mans, WEC or ILMC? Audi have made it quite clear this year alone that they are very very strong

Yes I watched lemans where they were 3/4 seconds a lap faster, which is what I meant by yet to be challenged.Audi have made it quite clear this year alone that they are very very strong
There seems to be an assumption that Audi are adequate at best - and everyone is under-achieving, rather than Audi are exceptionally strong.
Toyota may not have had the outright pace, but ran a very, very canny race at Le Mans.

3/4 seconds isn't a lot if your stopping for fuel more often. Toyota gave them a good race, as Peugeot usually did. Infact, except at Le Mans, Peugeot used to give Audi a good lesson in every race. Didn't Peugeot win something silly, like 11 6 hour races in a row? I think that can be classed as challenging Audi. Toyota whooped Audi at the end of last year.
What you are seeing is a great team raising their game.

Yup. To finish on the same lap after 24 hours of racing I judge to be a very credible challenge indeed. I also think that had it rained more on Sunday morning Toyota could have taken it as they were markedly faster in the wet. Bourdais unlapping himself around the outside of Kristensen on Porsche Curves in the wet was fantastic!E36GUY said:

Bourdais? In a Toyota?That were Mark Gene - I think they were trying to get themseles back onto the lead lap on the off chance that something happened in the rain that was forecast.
The Audi could have fought harder - but why bother when a lap up?! It was a bit of a hail-mary move but worth doing. They conceded with ten minutes to go after the rain never really materialised and let the Audi back through for the formation finish.
All in all the right balance of never say die attitude, but knowing when they are beat and doing it with grace.
